Featured Artist Jodie Gerling

Jodie shares her story through painting and prose, that it might comfort you, bring you encouragement, and help draw you  deeper into worship with God. She lives in the Flint Hills area of Kansas with her husband and three children. Jodie has always loved art and has also done photography and writing since 2008. She has had the honor of being published in TIME online, The Mighty, ThriveMoms national ministry, and in various devotionals for women both online and in print. Scripture calls us to tell our stories. Of the wonderful deeds He has done. Of how He has brought us up out of the pit, or walked beside us through the fire, or showered us with blessings. Of affliction and comfort. Of how His redeeming love has changed us so that we can proclaim His name and His works to those around us. 

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.”
