First Wood Fired Pottery Collection: One-of-a-kind Pieces Shaped by Flame
After more than 24 hours of steady stoking and a full week of slow cooling, the wood kiln has finally been opened — and what came out is something you truly have to see.
This firing was a community effort, fueled by a crew of local Manhattan potters and K-State students working together around the clock to keep the flames going. Unlike the electric kiln, wood firing demands constant care and gives you absolutely no guarantees — just the chance at something beautiful, unexpected, and completely unique.
And now, those one-of-a-kind pieces are ready to be in your hands.
This collection is full of earthy tones, fire-kissed textures, and warm, natural finishes. You’ll notice subtle surface shifts where bare clay met ash. No two pieces are alike — and none of them can be repeated.
If you love pottery with personality, depth, and a little wildness, you’re going to love this release.
Every piece is small-batch, naturally finished, and impossible to recreate.
