Featured Artist - Savannah Thaemert

Savannah Thaemert is the artist behind the Gaming Monkeys and Potter’s Hands mug paintings. With a painterly feel, the first paintings highlight potter’s hands molding clay. These were inspired by bible verses that remind us that we are in the hands of a Divine Potter. The contrasting mugs show monkeys playing video game in water with brighter colors. This alternative set is random, quirky, and fun!

            Savannah has loved various art styles from a young age. Her self-taught skills met with Kansas State classes as she picked up an art minor in drawing and film a few years back. She studied anthropology; where she fostered a passion for creativity, culture, and seeing life through various lenses. This could explain her different style choices.

Besides art, she is passionate about mentoring and coaching the youth through sport. We can thank the sport of volleyball for the birth of her collaboration with ChickaBee Studios, as the potter/owner was her coach. She is also passionate about spending time with family and friends in her hometown of Manhattan.

While her work is in the space at Eclectic Charm, she plans to bring in more artwork of various styles!
